FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION
When do I need to book in for a newborn session?
The best time to book is after your 20 week scan. Newborn sessions are so time critical so its important that you don't leave it too late as I only allocate limited slots in the studio for newborn sessions.
If I have had my baby already and want a newborn session is it too late?
Not always sometimes I will have space in the studio diary so always drop me a message and I will always try to fit you in where possible.
How many people can be photographed in a family session?
I limit to 2 adults and 3 children because of space in the studio but can always arrange a location shoot for larger groups.
Are siblings allowed to be involved in newborn sessions?
Absolutely! I love having the older brother/sister in, its one of my favourite shots seeing them interact with their new addition to the family.
What do I need to bring to a session?
For newborn sessions normal nappy bag stuff, plenty of milk, change of clothes and any small props you would like in the photos. For family sessions I allow one change of outfit so you may want to bring a change of clothes.
What shall I wear?
I always send a little advisory email to my clients on colour palettes etc. I encourage neutral and pastel shades to fit in with my style of photography but of course I want you to feel comfortable so don't worry if your favourite top isn't neutral the main thing is your happy in your photos not what your wearing.
What are the studio opening hours?
9am-5pm Monday to Saturday, if the studio is closed at any time this will be advertised on social media and via the newsletter.
Do I need to pay deposits to secure an appointment?
Yes deposits are required and details will be sent at point of booking.
We thoroughly loved our bump and then baby photo shoot with Laura. the pictures are incredible (and this is from someone who really does not like have their picture taken) and Laura got them to us really quickly. Laura really tries to understand your requirements, has lots of of creative ideas and also makes you feel at ease.I have already booked Laura for my babies first birthday shoot!
